How can we verify a merchant's premises without a site visit?
The applicant records a short, geotagged video walkthrough of the premises inside the app. Kenal Business checks where it was recorded against the declared address and uses AI to audit the footage against a checklist for that type of business, such as signage, stock and equipment. Capture is in-app camera only, so an old video cannot be uploaded instead.
Which businesses can Kenal Business onboard?
Kenal Business onboards companies, sole proprietorships and partnerships registered with SSM, and businesses in Sabah and Sarawak that hold local trade licences instead. Each business category has its own questionnaire and premise checklist, and your team can adjust them. Higher-risk categories can be kept out of self-service so they always go to a person for review.
How are directors and authorised signatories verified?
Each authorised signatory completes a full Kenal eKYC check on their own phone: MyKad scan, liveness and face match. Directors who are not with the applicant receive a secure link to verify remotely. You choose whether one signatory, a set number or every director must verify before the application can be submitted, and all results sit in the same file.
